Kimberly Aubuchon
Kimberly Aubuchon was born in rural Illinois in 1967, grew up in Missouri, and currently resides in San Antonio, Texas with a great boyfriend, two cats, and a spotted dog. She earned a degree to create real nice art from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2001. She likes to make and manipulate digital images that are simple, yet bizarre imagery regarding momentary thoughts, ideas and memories that are generally created under the influence of classic rock music, ridiculous television shows, and refreshing domestic beer. These digital offerings are transformed into paintings, murals, and occasionally available in the form of popular clothing and postcards. Kimberly has recently shown in group exhibitions in San Antonio, Chicago, New York, and Barcelona, and has had solo shows at Stella Haus in San Antonio and 3Arts Gallery in Chicago. Kimberly is also the Founder and Director of Unit B (Gallery), and has curated shows in Chicago, Detroit, Houston, and San Antonio.

Diana Beck

Diana teaches fine art at Concordia Lutheran School, and is a professional faux finisher heading up Diana Beck Designs. Diana has worked as a Professional photographer, and Printer in New York, and Dallas and is currently working on a new series of photographs documenting mission road entitled "Mission to Mission."

Caroline Korbell Carrington
Caroline Korbell Carrington is a native San Antonio artist whose primary medium and subject is rich vibrant, oil landscapes. Caroline's concern as an artist is to discover a personal vision through nature. Her dialogue with nature creates an excitement and energy that comes to life on canvas. She feels that an awareness of man's relationship with nature is a constant theme in her work. For Caroline, the rugged beauty of the Southwest has captured her heart and senses like no other place in the world. The art she enjoys most is native art and Mexican folk art. The simplicity of color and design brings warmth and happiness. "I believe my passion for folk art stems from my deep desire to simplify my art and my life. At this time I am continuing to follow these passions and am enjoying myself to the fullest." Caroline is very pleased to have the opportunity to contribute her talent toward the Respite Care Center for children.

Paula Rayer Nemec
"Creating a piece of art to me is like living a life. One moment at a time, one experience built on the previous experience, layer upon layer. My paintings emerge from the medium, whether it is paint, paper, steel, or an art book. I observe it, add to it and listen and feel my way to its completion. Like a life, a painting creates its own story... Letting the work tell its story, letting the piece become, then letting it go to create its own place in history."

Paula Rayer Nemec's work covers a vast range of mediums. Painted works on paper and canvas, molded paper that often becomes sculptural and steel sculptures that often become functional pieces. Always, they verge on the abstract with a touch of the real created in an abstract way. She is always painting her inner visions of the world around her. Paula delights in capturing the human condition, the life force that is within all of us. Capturing the essence of what she perceives at that moment. Her journals are journeys through words, poetry and visual images. Her works are a combination of the visual and the verbal, the abstract and the conceptual. Paula's passion is her perseverance in the creative process. To always be changing and growing and pushing the process in new directions. She says "My art and my life are always in process, always changing, taking new shapes and going down different avenues of creativity" Paula exhibits, teaches and lectures in the U.S. and Europe.

Currently Paula has championed the visual arts and artists in the Dallas area through the Visual Art Coalition of Dallas. Their mission is to get exhibition space in the Dallas Performing Arts Centers and the Downtown Arts District. This has been a 4 year process to form a 501C3 Non Profit and to organize over 6500 Visual Artists in the city of Dallas. She is currently working on an inspirational book of her paintings, poetry and text.

Molly White
Molly White is an art teacher here in San Antonio at St. Luke's Episcopal School. In her art classes, she believes it is important to be creative, but to also to learn something. Her main focus is to introduce famous artists to her students and then recreate that work in the children's own way. Not discovering art until college, Molly realized how important art is in ones life and received a degree in studio art at Texas Christian University in 2000. She also learned that it is never too early to start creating art which is why she teaches children from age 3-7. Currently, she is teaching an art camp this summer. Her ultimate goal is to start her own art school for children of all ages. She believes Respite Care of San Antonio is an amazing organization and is honored to be a part of this charity event.
